Our Clients

These are just some of the amazing clients Write Away Whitsundays has worked with....

sunsail

Write Away Whitsundays works with Sunsail Sailing Holidays, on Hamilton Island, to deliver its public relations program in Australia and Asia across a variety of media including travel press, lifestyle magazines and specialist sailing press.

made in the whitsundays

Write Away Whitsundays has been helping regional economic development agency Enterprise Whitsundays with the launch of a new regional brand.

Made in the Whitsundays was launched at the end of 2009 and continues to gain momentum as a brand that unites Whitsunday products and produce under one recognisable banner.

WAW has devised and is helping to implement a complete communications strategy including media relations, website and brochure, as well as a membership drive through e-marketing.

dreamcatcher

DreamCatcher was one of Write Away Whitsundays’ first clients. The owners of this extremely elegant classic sailing ketch asked WAW to write the brochure copy for the boat’s relaunch as a unique charter option in the Whitsundays following a two-year restoration program.

WAW is still working with Dream Catcher’s owners, this time on a media relations and e-marketing program to promote the yacht as a wonderful Whitsundays wedding venue.

koala adventure island

When South Molle Island Resort was relaunched as Koala Adventure Island Resort in 2009, it was Write Away Whitsundays who helped get the word out there.

A media relations program was created and rolled out across the travel press, from ‘backpacker’ magazines to national weekend newspapers, and also TV shows including a spot on Ch 9’s Getaway.

proserpine sugar mill

Proserpine Sugar Mill has invested millions of dollars in ground-breaking technology to create Australia’s first bio-refinery that uses sugar cane waste to create liquid furfural, which can be used as an additive for ethanol in diesel.
When PSM needed a logo to launch the project at the end of 2009, they approached Write Away Whitsundays, who, working with one of our graphic design partners, produced the above logo.

tropix photography

When Tropix Photography wanted to celebrate the fact their shop had been in business in Airlie Beach for 25 years, they knew they wanted to make a noise but didn’t know how exactly. Write Away Whitsundays helped Tropix get the word out there with an integrated campaign including press advertising, newspaper editorial, competitions and a ‘birthday’ event.

whitsunday reef festival

The annual Whitsunday Reef Festival in October is one of the biggest events on the region’s social calendar and is only possible due to a committee of hardworking volunteers.

Write Away Whitsundays does its small part by helping out with media relations and writing media releases as the event approaches each year.

tafe great barrier reef institute of

Write Away Whitsundays delivers media training workshops through the Cannonvale campus of the Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE. Contact the TAFE for future workshop dates.

WAW can also come to you and conduct in-house media training – full or half-day workshops for one or more people.

whitsunday regional council

Write Away Whitsundays has worked with Whitsunday Regional Council on and off for more than two years including delivering in-house media training to key personnel and providing media relations coverage on a contract basis when required.

WAW also wrote Whitsunday Regional Council’s award submission for the 2008 Whitsunday Tourism Awards [Airlie Beach Lagoon - Major Tourist Attraction].
